Gratitude and Appreciation: A Message to Our Canadian Team!
Dear team,
As the owner and chairman of both CLLC Turkey and CLLC Canada, I have had the privilege of leading exceptional teams. I firmly believe in the power of collaboration, hard work, and dedication to achieve remarkable results. In this article, I want to reflect on the past 12 weeks and celebrate our collective accomplishments. These achievements not only signify the growth and success of CLLC but also exemplify the values and principles that guide my leadership.
While my primary focus has been on overseeing our Canadian campuses and team, I have also actively participated in the development of our Turkey school. In the past year, I personally worked on phase one, which involved acquiring land, obtaining city permits, and developing architectural plans. The progress in both Turkey and Canada illustrates the strength of collaboration.
As we reflect on the past weeks of hard work, collaboration, and remarkable achievements, I am deeply grateful to each member of our team. Your unwavering dedication, tireless efforts, and exceptional contributions have been the driving force behind our collective success.
I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation for your commitment and the outstanding results you have delivered. Your passion, expertise, and teamwork have not only propelled CLLC forward but have also set a shining example for others to follow.
The level of professionalism, creativity, and resilience displayed by our team humbles me. Your ability to overcome challenges and seize opportunities has been nothing short of remarkable. Through our hard work and unwavering commitment, we have achieved significant milestones and made substantial progress.
Reflecting on the past 12 weeks fills me with pride and gratitude, as our accomplishments in Turkey and Canada demonstrate the power of teamwork, innovation, and dedication. As the owner and chairman of our businesses, I am committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
During this time, CLLC Canada and CLLC Turkey have achieved significant milestones and made remarkable progress in various areas. These accomplishments are a testament to the collective efforts and dedication of our exceptional teams. I firmly believe that success is a result of collaborative work, and I am immensely proud to have been a part of these 12 achievements:
1. Implementation of a New CRM and LMS System: We successfully launched a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and A learning Management System (MLS). These systems provide a user-friendly portal for students and agents, streamlining academic learning, communication and improving efficiency in our school operations.
2. Hiring and Training New Administration Staff: We expanded our team by hiring and training new administration staff members. Their expertise and commitment have already made a positive impact on our organization, ensuring that our administrative processes run smoothly.
3. Creation of a New Professional Development Plan: Recognizing the importance of continuous improvement, we developed a comprehensive professional development plan for our teachers and staff. This plan aims to enhance their skills and knowledge, further empowering them to deliver exceptional classes and service.
4. Renewal of Standards and Policies: We conducted a thorough review of our standards and policies, ensuring that they are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices. Additionally, we implemented a reviewer protocol to maintain consistency and quality across all our processes.
5. CLLC Cultural Day: We organized the CLLC Cultural Day, a special event that involved 22 interactive activities designed to help students learn English while embracing the CLLC 4U philosophy. This event fostered cultural exchange and provided a unique learning experience for our students and staff members.
6. Individual Meetings with Teachers: To better understand their needs and improve teacher satisfaction, I personally conducted individual and group meetings with our teachers. By addressing their concerns and implementing their valuable feedback, we aim to create a working environment that delights our staff, ultimately benefiting our students.
7. Transformation of the Ottawa Campus: I revamped the Ottawa campus by introducing a new design, decor, and furniture. This transformation not only enhances the learning environment but also reflects our commitment to providing a modern and comfortable space for our students, teachers and administrative staff members.
8. Improvement of the CLLC Toronto Student Lounge & Other areas: Recognizing the importance of staff and student well-being, we upgraded the CLLC Toronto student lounge with new furniture. This improved space offers a welcoming atmosphere where students can relax, socialize, and engage in meaningful interactions.
9. Creation of a Centralized Position for Academic Standards: We established a new centralized position dedicated to academic standards. This role ensures that our academic programs are aligned with industry standards and provides support to our teaching staff in delivering high-quality education.
10. Promotion of Key Academic Staff Members: In recognition of their outstanding contributions, we promoted key academic staff members across all our campuses. Their expertise and leadership will continue to inspire our students and contribute to the success of our organization.
11. Enhancing Team Culture and Collaboration:
In our unwavering pursuit of a cohesive team culture, we have taken proactive steps to further strengthen our bonds and ensure consistent practices across all campuses. To achieve this, we have initiated a program where key staff members will be flown to visit each other’s campuses, facilitating essential training and the establishment of standardized practices. Additionally, we firmly believe that fostering a strong team spirit goes beyond the confines of the workplace. Hence, we have organized engaging business lunch and dinner retreats for our dedicated team members across all campuses. These thoughtfully planned events serve as valuable opportunities for bonding, collaboration, and rejuvenation, ultimately elevating morale and nurturing a positive work culture throughout our organization.
12. Relocation of the Chairman’s Office:
I am pleased to announce a strategic decision that showcases our dedication to bolstering head office activities. It is with great enthusiasm that I personally relocated my home from Toronto to Halifax, a move that signifies our unwavering commitment to actively participate in and bolster the daily operations of our esteemed organization. By moving to Halifax, I will be able to support the centralized team and head office more efficiently. This relocation will enable closer proximity to the daily operations of the organization, allowing for enhanced CLLC business relationship with our key university partners and local agencies and a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the team. My presence in Halifax will facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making, ultimately contributing to the overall success and growth of CLLC. Furthermore, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to my wife for her invaluable assistance throughout the past six weeks. With the daunting task of packing and unpacking, not to mention caring for our wonderful children, her unwavering support has been instrumental in making this transition a smooth and successful one.

I firmly believe that our Canadian team is the backbone of CLLC Canada and CLLC Turkey. I am grateful to have such a talented and dedicated group of individuals. Your invaluable contributions are truly honored, and I appreciate the opportunity to work alongside each of you.
As I prepare for a trip to Istanbul to contribute to the construction phase of our new school, I am reminded of the remarkable spirit that defines our teams.
